Pahalgam Tragedy: PM Modi Sends a Heartfelt, Unyielding Message – “Justice Will Be Served”

The picturesque valleys of Pahalgam were shattered by horror on April 22, as terrorists ruthlessly attacked a group of tourists, leaving 26 innocent lives—mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters—cut short. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood before the nation, not just as a leader, but as a fellow Indian grieving with millions.

Speaking from Bihar with palpable emotion in his voice, PM Modi didn’t mince words. “Friends, from the soil of Bihar, I promise the world—India will find each terrorist and every person who gave them shelter. They will be held accountable, no matter where they are.”

The Prime Minister’s voice carried the sorrow of a nation and the fierce resolve of a leader unwilling to let such brutality go unanswered. “India’s spirit cannot be crushed. We’ve faced terrorism before, and we will face it again—but we will never bow to it.”

Without naming any country directly, PM Modi made it clear that those behind the planning and execution of this heinous act, including their foreign collaborators, would be punished “beyond their imagination.” He thanked the global community for standing with India during this painful time, emphasizing the unity of humanity against such acts of terror.

Before his speech truly began, a moment of silence was observed—for the 26 lives lost in an attack that has left the entire nation in mourning. Modi shared that the victims hailed from various parts of India—Bengal, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, and Bihar. “They were our people. Our families,” he said, visibly moved.

“What happened in Pahalgam is not just a regional tragedy. It is a national wound,” Modi said. “Our sorrow, from Kargil to Kanniyakumari, is one and the same. And so is our anger.”

He highlighted that peace and security are non-negotiable for India’s development. And in a decisive response, the government has already taken diplomatic measures, including cutting military ties with Pakistan and halting longstanding treaties.

As families mourn and candles flicker across the country in silent tribute, PM Modi’s words echo in every Indian heart: We will never forget. We will never forgive. And justice will find its way.
