SRINAGAR, March 07: In a landmark development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace Srinagar today to participate in the much-awaited ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ event, marking a significant milestone in the region’s developmental trajectory.

Temporary Ban on Drone Activity:

Amid heightened security measures, Srinagar city has been designated a ‘Temporary Red Zone’ for drone and quadcopter operations during Prime Minister Modi’s visit. The directive, issued by the Srinagar Police in accordance with Rule 24(2) of Drone Rules, 2021, aims to ensure the safety and security of the visit. Citizens are urged to cooperate with authorities to facilitate a smooth execution of the ban.

Ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival, Imran Aziz, a talented young singer from Anantnag, has composed a soulful song lauding PM Modi’s visionary leadership. The comprehensive program, encompassing agriculture, livestock husbandry, and horticulture, is poised to empower over 2.5 lakh farmers through skill development initiatives via the Daksh Kisan portal.

Empowering Governance:

In a bid to strengthen governance and public service delivery, Prime Minister Modi will issue appointment orders to approximately 1000 new government recruits in Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, he will launch initiatives such as the ‘Dekho Apna Desh People’s Choice Tourist Destination Poll’ and the ‘Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign,’ furthering the government’s commitment to inclusive development and citizen engagement.
