World News

The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic Red Fort car blast on November 10.

While speaking at the Foundation Week of the Islamic University in Awantipora, LG Sinha emphasized the need for solidarity and vigilance in the face of terrorism. “I pay my condolences to those who lost their lives in the Red Fort car blast on the 10th of November,” he said solemnly.

Sinha strongly condemned the act, calling terrorism the biggest enemy of peace, development, and brotherhood. “It weakens the unity among our people and has devastated the youth of Jammu & Kashmir for over three decades,” he noted.

The Lieutenant Governor also highlighted the resilience and progress of the region’s youth, stating that today’s generation is chasing dreams once thought impossible. “Our youth are working hard, achieving goals, and becoming symbols of hope. Unfortunately, this progress is intolerable for our neighbouring country and those who support unrest,” he added.

Sinha appealed to citizens across the nation to stand united against terrorism and assist security forces by reporting any suspicious or anti-social activity. “Peace is our shared responsibility,” he reminded, urging the public to act as vigilant partners in ensuring safety and harmony.

This message serves as a reminder that the fight against terrorism is not just for the authorities — it is for every citizen who believes in peace, unity, and progress. Together, we can ensure that the sacrifices of the innocent are not forgotten and that such tragedies never repeat.
