The Indian Consulate in Jeddah has activated an emergency control room to coordinate relief efforts and assist affected families. Authorities are working round the clock to gather accurate information and extend support to survivors.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is currently in Russia, expressed profound grief over the incident. He assured that both the Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah are providing full assistance to the injured and the families of those affected. He also conveyed heartfelt condolences and wished for the swift recovery of survivors.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also responded with deep concern. His office confirmed preliminary reports indicating that several Hyderabad residents were among the passengers. The Chief Minister has directed the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police to obtain full details and remain in constant communication with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Saudi Embassy. He further instructed authorities to begin immediate relief measures.

The state has set up a dedicated control room at the Secretariat to help families receive timely updates, support, and guidance.
